Hyderabad: Blasphemy against Prophet, accused arrested

Hyderabad: Police arrested the accused who had made blasphemous remarks against Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

For his arrest, police commissioned experienced former police officials who had camped in the area for two nights.

It may be mentioned that police had become alert to make every possible effort to keep law and order situation under control which was disturbed with the blasphemous remarks made by the accused, Syed Abbas Ali Rizvi of Kotla Alija.

Police arrested the accused from an unknown place and kept him in Meer Chowk Police Station.

Anticipating, the wrath of public, police intensified patrolling in the area. It is reported that many criminal cases have been registered in various police stations against Abbas Ali Rizvi.
