Telangana Govt Constitutes Committee on Tollywood Affairs

From the last few days the whole state talking about the casting couch issue and this issue effected the AP politics also.But till now Telangana govt not yet taken any action on this iisue.Now Telangana Chief Minister KCR Rao has taken serious note of the recent incidents in the Telugu film industry which brought bad repute to the state also.Government constituted a High Level Committee to address the safety of women artists and root out the menace of casting couch.
The high level committee is headed by Film Development Corporation Ram Mohan Rao and film personalities including film Producers and MAA representatives will be the members in the committee. It will make recommendations to the government on measures to be taken to protect women artists from the growing menace of casting couch in the film industry.
The committee has been asked to submit its report in a week or ten days to the government, Cinematography minister T Srinivas Yadav said special protection measures for women artists will be taken.
